What this is

PLC Sunset is an independent, free lookup of industrial control part lifecycle status, started by a material-handling automation engineer.

How the data is collected

• Each entry is recorded by hand from public manufacturer publications. We record facts only (catalog number, status, date, recommended replacement) in our own words. We do not copy or mirror manufacturer text.
• Every part page shows its source and the date we last checked it. Statuses can change, so always confirm with the manufacturer or an authorized distributor before you buy.
• If a source gives no date, we leave the date blank instead of guessing.
• Corrections are welcome through the correction form.
